Friends of mine call this tech-funk. I'm still partial to calling it breaks and hate the idea of having to continuously break down styles of EDM into more finite descriptions.

I ws bouncing around the web a few days ago and came across a few different lists of the top 100 Trance Anthems of all times. Many of the lists had great tracks, good variety, glaring ommissions, and some surprises. Based on these lists I decided to go digging into the crates and into my files to put together a mix. The tracks I selected are at or near the top of what I consider the best... Anthems. Notice that I hesitated to say Trance Anthems. As I went through the mix and selected tracks, I began to stray from the staple trance sound to a mix of Trance, Progressive House, Tribal, and even some breaks. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy.
